Pastor Donny Friederichsen is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando (MDiv, ’11) and of The University of Tennessee (B.A., ’99). He and his wife, Kim, have four children. Pastor Donny grew up in Chattanooga, TN and is an irrationally optimistic Tennessee Volunteers fan. He pastored for 9 years in Northern New Jersey and the Bahamas. He and Kim spent several years on staff with Cru in Belarus, Kentucky, and Florida. He is a frequent writer for Ligonier’s Tabletalk, the Gospel Reformation Network, and Reformation 21. He serves on the General Council of the Gospel Reformation Network. Donny coaches the Apologetics Team for a local STOA speech and debate club. He is also a frequent trainer for lay leaders in the growing Reformed and Presbyterian house-church movement in a large Asian country that will remain anonymous.

Pastor Sterling A. Tyler graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary, Dallas, with a Master's of Divinity in 2023, and from the University of Rochester, Eastman School of Music, in 2013 with a Bachelor's of Music in Viola Performance. He is married to Emily Tyler and has four children: Amye (8), Matthew (6), Tobias (s.b.), and Cora (1). Sterling enjoys reading, especially the Puritans, golfing, classical music, and spending time with friends and family. 

Paul Thompson is an award-winning composer/arranger/orchestrator for movies, television, and musical theater. He started his musical journey as a singer and pianist in his father's churches where he and his four older siblings were often called on to provide special music. In 2017, Paul started his own company, House of El Music, writing custom scores for albums, theater, movies, and live events. When not writing music, Paul enjoys baking bread, writing, and reading books.

Sofia joined as the Office Administrator in 2023.

Rachel Stillwell is a 4th-grade teacher and mom to 3 amazing little boys. She has a huge heart for special needs ministry and reaching those kids and parents.  

Rebekah is a middle school teacher who also leads our Vacation Bible School each summer. She spent 10 years with Kids Across America and Summer's Best Two Weeks: Citikids. These are Christian Sports Camps for urban youth.  She has worked for years with our covenant children at Lakeside, including directing our children's Sunday School program. She loves her work with children and youth and cannot imagine doing anything else.

Matthew manages the physical property of Lakeside. In addition to his maintenance work at Lakeside, Matthew is preparing for ordained ministry in the PCA as a full-time student at RTS-Dallas.

Margaret became the organist at Lakeside in 2008.  As a teenager, she played the organ at her church in Alpine. She feels blessed to serve the Lord again through music after 40 years of what she calls her "musical desert." Margaret & her husband Tim have been married for 50 years. They have three children and three amazing grandsons.

David Boxerman served as the Senior Pastor of Lakeside PCA for over 22 years. Upon his honorable retirement from full-time pastoral ministry in 2020, he was honored as Pastor Emeritus at Lakeside.
