We would like to make it as easy as possible for newcomers to feel at home at Lakeside. We are a welcoming community that invites people of all worship backgrounds to attend our services. In addition to our weekly worship service that includes singing and a sermon, we also offer Sunday school for adults, students, and children. We offer the following every Sunday:
WORSHIP SERVICE – 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Our worship service is a time for God's people to gather and worship our Creator and Redeemer. This time includes singing, prayer and a message from one of our pastors. Our messages are based on the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and are explained so that we can learn how God’s Word applies to our daily lives. You may dress according to your preferences.
SUNDAY SCHOOL– 9:15 -10:00 a.m.
This is a time where we dig deeper into the scriptures for study. The intention is to gather to study God’s word and gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of God and the Christian life. Sunday School topics vary from studying a particular book in Scripture to studying Scriptural themes related to things like marriage, work, and parenting.
FOR STUDENTS: There are also Sunday School classes for students of all ages.
Preschool & Kindergarten
1st – 3rd Grade (Lower Elementary)
4th – 5th Grade (Upper Elementary)
6th - 8th Grade (Middle School)
9th - 12th Grade (High School)
We have care for children from infants through 3 years old during the Sunday School and Worship times.
Children who are 4 years old through 1st Grade are dismissed to Kid's Connection after most of the worship songs before the message. At this time, they are taught an age-appropriate Bible lesson by volunteer leaders in the education building. All of our volunteers have submitted and cleared background checks.
WHAT KIND OF WORSHIP MUSIC DO YOU HAVE?
We have a blended style. We love the timeless hymns of yesterday and new songs of today. Our goal is always to give God alone the glory in our worship.
DO VISITORS HAVE TO STAND UP AND GET RECOGNIZED?
No. Our visitors are not asked to stand or raise their hand during the service.
