About Our Pastor
Pastor David Boxerman was instrumental in three church plants during sixteen years of pastoral ministry in Central Florida prior to being called by Lakeside in 1997. Pastor Boxerman was converted to faith in Jesus Christ at age 23 from a religious upbringing in Reform Judaism. He earned a BS in Secondary Education (Phys. Ed.) from the University of Missouri and received his Master of Divinity degree in 1981 from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.
Pastor Dave's wife, Donna Joy grew up in Mesa, AZ and is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Masters Degree in Math. She was converted to faith in Christ through the ministry of the Church of the Redeemer, which is where Dave and Donna Joy met. With their thirteen years at Lakeside Presbyterian, the Boxermans look forward to all that the Lord has in store for the church and God’s glory.
God has blessed Pastor Dave and Donna Joy with four spectacular children:

Tabitha Joy (26) – Graduate of Texas Women’s University (Summa cum laude) with her Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy from Eastman School of Music. Tabitha is now working on earning her Doctorate at Eastman.

Ariel Joy Bealer (24) – Ariel and her husband Matthew are both graduates of Ouachita Baptist University. Matthew has just completed his seven years of service in the National Guard, which included a tour of duty in Iraq. The Bealers are back to the DFW area and in the process of settling in, looking for housing, employment opportunities, etc.

Lydia-Marie Joy (21) - Graduating from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas, in December 2011 and majoring in Elementary Education.

John-David (15) – JD is a home-schooler (as all the Boxerman children have been) in the 9th grade. He knows the Shorter Catechism and loves baseball. JD is also active as a Life Class ranked Boy Scout.
